As an account executive, Kait develops and implements social media strategies that are tailored to each Waterhouse client’s particular business goals and aspirations. With her experience in content creation and passion for storytelling, she aids the firm and its clients by ensuring each organization’s unique brand voice is authentically represented. In addition, Kait works on client media relations, research and special event coordination.
Her previous professional experience includes Bethel University where she served as a communications specialist. In this role, she acted as primary copywriter, project coordinator and social media manager for all of the university’s social media channels. Through her social media management and an established brand voice, Kait increased student engagement and generated additional media exposure across platforms.
Kait holds a master’s degree in strategic communications as well as a bachelor’s with a focus in public relations, both from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Her past experience also includes roles as the support and development director and social media director for WUTM 90.3 “The Hawk,” where she earned numerous regional and national awards for copywriting and broadcasting voice work.
Outside of work, Kait enjoys reading, practicing yoga and spending time with family and friends. As a West Tennessee native, Kait is excited to explore her new city with her husband and two dogs.
