Wilson Air Center’s fixed base operation at Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport was named most improved U.S. FBO for 2017 by Professional Pilot (Pro Pilot) Magazine.

Countrywide, Memphis-based Wilson Air’s operation in Chattanooga was named the No. 14 FBO in the nation in the magazine’s 44th annual preferences regarding aviation services and equipment survey.

The Wilson Air chain was recognized in the survey as the best small U.S. FBO chain compared to all small chains with three to 10 bases.

Terry Hart, the Chattanooga airport’s chief executive, said the Wilson Air Center team’s custom-designed aviation campus and energy-efficient executive terminal enhances the airport’s strategic business focus and greatly contributes to economic growth across the region.
