Project: Riverside Recharged Event

Category: Special Events

Waterhouse Public Relations designed, developed and implemented an international event to celebrate NOVONIX’s retrofitting of a 350,000-square-foot manufacturing facility on Riverside Drive in Chattanooga, TN. Branded as Riverside Recharged, the event brought together U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm along with international NOVONIX executives and national, state and local elected officials to celebrate the new facility. We conducted all event planning, which included strategy; developing invites to local, regional, state and federal stakeholders, including energy, business and community leaders; securing speakers; developing the run of show of the 45-minute program, talking points and key messaging; coordinating with vendors to design the set and stage; and collaborating with an animator to create a digital piece for the ceremonial finish of the event. We also led media relations with local, regional, national, international and trade outlets and coordinated videography for social media and other uses. NOVONIX’s plans to retrofit the facility marked a $160 million investment.
