Kelsey Chastain is an award-winning storyteller with demonstrated knowledge of broadcast media, digital media, advertising and media relations. At Waterhouse Public Relations, she thrives on the challenges and rewards of thinking outside the box for her clients and their target audiences.
Previously as Marketing & Communications Manager at Local Fare, a Chattanooga-based lifestyle magazine, she steered the layout and content generation of the monthly publication, in addition to overseeing all communications with clients and the community. Prior to that, she was a General Assignment Reporter at WTVC NewsChannel 9, where she received a first place award from the Tennessee Associated Press for her storytelling abilities. Her unique journalism experience allows her to quickly establish and maintain relationships with various media outlets. Pitching stories daily for news coverage allows her to create relevant media pitches for clients and prepare them for live and taped interviews with enthusiasm.
Chastain is an Atlanta-area native and calls Chattanooga her home with her husband Jordan and “Heinz 57” rescue dog, Chipper. She is proud to be a member of the Humane Educational Society’s Board of Directors and assist in the planning of annual fundraising events. In her spare time, she enjoys cheering on the Chattanooga Lookouts, listening to live music and exploring new local shops and restaurants.
