Chambliss Attorneys Listed in ‘Best Lawyers’

Twenty-two attorneys at Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel have been selected by their peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2017. In addition, Best Lawyers has named two Chambliss attorneys and one 2016 retiree as Lawyers of the Year.

Best Lawyers recognized Tim Gibbons as the 2017 Construction Law Chattanooga Lawyer of the Year. Gibbons, listed since 2013, is a former licensed architect who focuses his practice on construction and litigation, offering clients the option of alternative dispute resolution.

In addition, Best Lawyers recognized Mark Turner as the 2017 Securitization and Structured Finance Law Chattanooga Lawyer of the Year. Turner has been on the list since 2015, and counsels clients on commercial lending transactions, corporate finance, and commercial and transactional work.

Best Lawyers also recognized Bruce Bailey, who retired in the spring of 2016, as the 2017 Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights, Insolvency and Reorganization Law Chattanooga Lawyer of the Year. Only a single lawyer in each practice area within a community is given this distinction.

Best Lawyers lists are compiled based on peer-review evaluation. Over 79,000 attorneys globally cast more than 6.7 million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their practice areas. Lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed.
