In celebration of National Chemistry Week, several employees from BASF’s Chattanooga sites brought the Kids’ Lab program to more than 100 Orchard Knob Elementary School fifth grade students.

BASF employees led science experiments that promoted learning about chemistry and safety. Each student received a backpack with notebooks to record their observations, along with a BASF apron and safety glasses.

BASF Kids’ Lab is an education program established in 1997 focused on nurturing children’s interest in chemistry through interactive experiments, officials said.
